Virtual Reality Skiing at its best!
Suchworks Studios, the virtual reality ski simulation specialists are launching their first full title "Alpine Ski VR" on the 16/12/2016.
Groundbreaking VR Ski Experiences
In 2016 Suchworks combined forces with Fatmap, leaders in creating highly detailed 3D piste maps for ski resorts. Using Suchworks ski model and Fatmaps mapping technology they created the most immersive VR ski simulation to date, a breathtaking virtual reality view of Chamonix with a staggering level of detail, which is not only skiable, but comes with your own heli to fly you anywhere you like. This experience was a huge success and became a highlight of many International ski events, including the International Freeski Festival and The Telegraph Ski and Snowboard Show.

Alpine Ski VR
Suchworks have now taken their skiing model to the next level with the release of Alpine Ski VR, a game soon to become available on the Oculus and Steam Stores. Alpine Ski VR combines the already proven and immersive Ski VR system, adding 6 slalom courses, 6 freestyle levels and 100km2 of open world mountains for any adventurer to Heliski.
In game, players can compete to get the best times on the slalom courses. The key to this is to avoid obstacles and keep leaning to a minimum. Lean too much and you’ll slow yourself down due to the realistic in game physic model! The game is designed so players can take it in turns with friends to see who’s the true pro skier.
Perform tricks in one of the snow parks, on the big air or one of the off piste cliff drops. Tilt your head, like a true pro, to perform 1080’s, but be sure to land the jump correctly or you’ll lose your score multiplier and the chance to get a massive score.
Take a relaxing ski around the huge open world mountain range, carving up the slopes and taking in the views. Once you’re done, your heli will come pick you up and fly you wherever you’d like to go!
Alpine Ski VR will be available for the Oculus and Vive headsets and can be downloaded from 16th December 2016.
